Is FEMDOM so common in western countries? And are more and more female westerners now practising as pro/ lifestyle Dommes? What causes this tendency?

I think femdom is more a western speciality but I even met quite strict arabian femdoms as well as perfedct asian femdoms.
After my opinion femdom has a lot to do with the level of education.
Almost all femdoms I ever met were highly educated and often had very high and good jobs.
In wstern countries ist is indeed more common than in other countries where the position of women in society is not so free as here.
