Quite the opposite. It clearly demonstrates that you have a fundamental LACK of maturity. Becoming pregnant at that age is very unwise, as it has profound negative implications for the mother, the child, the mother's family, the father and his family, and the community at large (that includes me).

As a spokesmen for the community at large, I request that you engage in reproductive activity only when you are financially and socially secure enough to provide you child with a safe home in which they can grow up without any hindrances to them or anyone else. Poverty or financial insecurity is a major hindrance. A sixteen-year-old would have great difficulty providing for her own needs, never mind a child's.

And no, I don't believe a sixteen-year-old girl is capable of being a "good mother". I'm sixteen myself, and quite mature for my age. I'm wise enough to realize that parenthood at my age would be a major catastrophe for all involved, most of all the child.
